Academic Calendars

As a service to the students we are providing the Academic Calendars for all Medical Students. If you need help accessing the calendars, contact the Office of Medical Education (412)648-8714 or E-mail omed@medschool.pitt.edu.

The following academic calendars are available in .PDF format and require version 4.0 or later of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

The Curriculum Overview provides a schematic of the current four year course sequence.

The Block and Course List provides a listing of current required MS-1 and MS-2 courses and their directors.

The Clerkship List provides a listing of current required clerkships and their directors.

2011-2012 Academic Year

First Year - Class of 2015

• The Daily Calendar provides a day-by-day overview of the academic year.
• The Block Calendar provides a week-by-week overview of the academic year.
• The Exam Dates Calendar provides a list of all course exam dates.
• The Grades and Promotions Timeline shows the due dates for reporting grades to the committee on student promotions.

Second Year – Class of 2014

Third Year – Class of 2013

• Clinical Blocks for the third year run from early May through the end of April.

Fourth Year – Class of 2012

• Clinical Blocks for the fourth year run from early May through graduation Monday the following May.
