The Standardized Patient Program was developed after reviewing the medical school curriculum and determining where Standardized Patients were currently being used and what courses had the potential to integrate Standardized Patients. The program has grown from four sessions to over fifteen programs that run throughout each academic year.
The Advanced Clinical Education Center coordinates all Standardized Patient activities for the School of Medicine as well as to organizations outside the University.
If you have a question concerning the Standardized Patient Program, whether it is employment or planning and implementing an activity, the Advanced Clinical Education Center can help.
