UPSOM is committed to the success of every physician in training enrolled in the MD program. The Student Progress and Promotions Committee (SPPC) oversees academic progress and makes decisions about promotion and advancement through the curriculum.
If you have been referred to the SPPC or one of its related committees, Rhonda White, EdD is here to help. As UPSOM's Director of Academic Progress and Programming and a member of the Office of Medical Education leadership, Dr. White serves as the point person for all things related to a student's academic advancement through the curriculum, including the Student Progress and Promotions Committee, the Professionalism Subcommittee, the SPPC Appeals Committee, and the Grade Appeals Committee.
