Betsy Nero

Betsy Nero is a Senior Curriculum Specialist and the Executive Chief Proctor for the School of Medicine with the National Board of Medical Examiners. Her duties include overseeing the administration of all NBME subject exams; distributing USMLE Step 1 and 2 score reports; preparing and posting MS-1 and MS-2 course and block grades; producing and distributing student small group assignments; serving as the Recording Secretary for the UPSOM Curriculum Committee; and coordinating the Mini-Elective Course Program for first and second year students. 

Additionally, Betsy serves as the ExamSoft coordinator, which is a new testing program OMED launched this year. Her dedication, efficiency, and organizational skills have made this process exceptionally smooth thus far. 

Betsy graduated from Berkeley College and brought with her over 20 years of extensive and diversified experience in the corporate world and medical field. She was the recipient of the 2008 Staff Recognition Award.
