Michelle Sergent, MPH

Michelle is OMED's office and project administrator. Her primary responsibility is the liaison to various faculty and staff throughout the School of Medicine in her role as the data information coordinator for the ECU (Educational Credit Unit) program for teaching faculty. 

Additionally, Michelle coordinates and schedules all Scaife Hall room requests and provides extensive information and assistance to our medical students, faculty and staff. She is the supervisor of OMED's student workers and currently oversees and coordinates all ultrasound requests for the SOM. She develops, edits and reviews courses on Navigator, which is an educational resource technology tool for medical students. Additionally, she modifies and updates the OMED website on a regular basis, and has helped the department transition to a new website platform that is used University-wide.

Michelle graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Master’s in Public Health. In addition, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science, a Minor in Administration of Justice, and a Certificate in Pathokinesiology in Rehabilitation.
